Crew Change
Crew change is available and may join/land at all canal ports. Sign on can join the vessel after berthing or at waiting anchorage area. Reception / clearance and transport from/to Cairo airport can be handled by Marshal shipping Agency besides boarding/landing formalities.
1. Joiners should:
• be in a passion of valid seamen book.
• Detailed introduction letter from owners stating (ship's name…)
• Holding valid contract of employment.
• Officers should hold competency license.
• Marshal can issue Ok to Board / Letter of invitation for on-signers.
2. Off-signer crew:
Owners/masters should provide Marshal Shipping Agency with the following information about the crew members:
• Name
• Position
• Nationality/Passport No.
• Destination.
• Flight ticket details.
3.Visa:
• Entry visa for European / USA citizens not required. As for other nationalities , can be granted upon arrival at Cairo airport/Alexandria air port
• Persons coming from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Somalia and Srilanka, should send their data and copy of passports/flight tickets 72hrs before their arrival to join the vessel.
• For far Eastern/African crew, can not board ships hoisting flag other than their nationalities. Masters/Officers excluded provided holding certificate of competency.
• Women on board ships, that not holding seamen book will be treated as passengers, which will effect Canal tolls specially when ship is in ballast condition.
For charges please contact us putting in consideration that our services including the following :
1.Signing on :
• Issuance of ok to board/ letter of invitation.
• Meeting at Cairo /Alexandria airport.
• Entry visa.
• Rendering all Customs formalities.
• Transportation up to the vessel/hotel if any or to embarking point immigration.
• Booking only for hotels as per owner's instruction but bill will be owner account.
2.Signing off :
• All procedures from vessel up to Cairo/Alexandria airport , details same as above.
• All above mentioned rates excluding hotel accommodations if needed. And including immigration stamps and all relative sundries.
